Blackcurrant

Gorgeous grapey purple reminiscent of blackcurrant cordial.

DMC approximation between 3837 and 550 on linen, and paler than 208 on evenweave. Because of the intensity of this colour, it may bleed - if in doubt, pre-wash your fabric before using, and try to avoid washing it after it has been stitched.

This colour works well on all available fabrics, with linen giving the brightest results. Lugana, other evenweaves and Aida give paler (more muted) results.
